Bicyclists Honor Fellow Rider Killed in Truck Accident

The Seattle bicycling community mourned the death of Lance David, an avid cyclist who was killed in an accident with a semi-truck on May 1.

To honor David, members of the Seattle bicycling community held a memorial ride on his behalf the week after his death. The incident prompted bicyclists, including Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn, to call for action to make the busy area’s roads safer.
