DALLAS — Dallas attorney Frank L. Branson, founder of The Law Offices of Frank L. Branson, has been honored by the Dallas Bar Association as one of the legal industry’s “Texas Trial Legends” based on his courtroom achievements and illustrious legal career.
Mr. Branson was among eight trial lawyers recognized by the Dallas Bar Association’s Tort and Insurance Practice Section earlier this month during a luncheon program held at the Belo Mansion in downtown Dallas. The event featured a roundtable discussion moderated by the Hon. Patrick E. Higginbotham of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit that included a lively exchange about the legal industry and best practices for trial litigation.
In addition to Mr. Branson, the Dallas Bar Association’s list of “Texas Trial Legends” includes attorneys Jim E. Cowles, Darrell Keith, John H. Martin, Kleber C. Miller, Robert H. Mow, Jr., Windle Turley and Mark S. Werbner.
“Texas is home to some of the finest lawyers anywhere, and the Dallas Bar Association has a distinguished history of supporting the legal profession and promoting the highest standards of professionalism,” says Mr. Branson. “To be included in this group by the Dallas Bar is a profound honor.”
Mr. Branson has a nationwide reputation for rigorous courtroom preparation and passionate commitment to clients. His career has been marked by record recoveries and landmark verdicts for people who have been seriously injured by dangerous products, medical negligence, transportation injuries and industrial catastrophes.
Mr. Branson is a former president of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, and the Dallas Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, among many others.
Mr. Branson is a repeat Texas Super Lawyers honoree and in recent years has been named among the Super Lawyers list of Top 10 Lawyers in Texas. He has been honored by D Magazine as one of the Best Lawyers in Dallas and has been recognized by his peers in The Best Lawyers in America as one of the best lawyers in his field every year since 1987. Forbes magazine recognized him as one of the most successful trial lawyers in the country.
