KTVT Ch. 11 Interviews Frank Branson After Teen Killed in Go Kart Crash

When a 14-year-old Flower Mound girl died in a go kart crash during a sanctioned race in the parking lot of Texas Motor Speedway, the KTVT Ch. 11 news team sought out Dallas personal injury attorney Frank L. Branson to review the tragic events and outline the safety obligations that come with staging events like the timed race sponsored by the Sports Car Club of America. While preliminary investigations have ruled the death of Kierstin Eaddy an accident, Mr. Branson notes that property owners and the event’s sponsor have certain obligations to ensure that the race course is located with safety for participants and spectators in mind. Eaddy died when her go kart crashed on a course set up in a parking lot at Texas Motor Speedway. Fort Worth police are investigating the cause of the crash.
