Dallas trial lawyer Frank Branson is the recipient of the 2020 Ronald D. Secrest Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award from the Texas Bar Foundation based on his career-spanning commitment to upholding the legal profession’s highest ethical and professional standards.
Mr. Branson is the founder of the Law Offices of Frank L. Branson, a trial-focused law firm that has earned a reputation for excellence by securing significant and sometimes record-setting trial verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients who have suffered from the negligence or sometimes reckless behavior of others in cases involving trucking accidents, airplane crashes, injury from gas or electric lines, and harm caused by defective products or work site injuries. The firm’s proven courtroom expertise and resources are also in demand from business entities involved in high-stakes disputes.
Established in 2002, the award celebrates Ronald Secrest’s life as an outstanding trial lawyer who devoted himself to the highest standards of the trial practice. The Beck Redden law firm established the award in honor and memory of Mr. Secrest, who was a founding partner of the firm.
Mr. Branson will receive the Secrest Award at the Texas Bar Foundation Annual Dinner held on June 18 at the Omni Hotel in Fort Worth.
Founded in 1965 by attorneys determined to assist the public and improve the profession, the Texas Bar Foundation is the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the U.S. The Texas Bar Foundation relies on the contributions of its Fellows to improve the lives of Texans.
